Example Use of the secure2trust API
The secure2trust API can be used in applications that control documents, to automatically apply security polices controlling who accesses the document and how they use the content of that document. These policies are typically applied when a document is uploaded into the document controlling application, for example an enterprise content management system such as IBM FileNet or an online portal such as Microsoft SharePoint, Finsoft CBP, etc.. However, policies can also be applied as part of a workflow engine so that the security policy changes, as the document moves through the workflow, reflecting the changing security requirements throughout the lifecycle of that document. In fact policies can be applied at any relevant point in the system.
